Relay for Life Meeting
Hey everyone,
We had a meeting last
night for the Relay For Life. Santesh, Andrew and I attended. We decided to do
2 things to earn money during the event. One is we're taking the robot and
charging to have kids, or adults, shoot baskets with the robot. The other is we're
selling baked goods. I told Santesh and Andrew if they build a cookie cutter
and/or small brownie/cake pan that is robot shaped, that would be awesome
(nudge, nudge to the team). So, I plan on baking for the team to sell it at the
event to make money for our team. Not only are you supporting a great cause but
there are incentives for raising money. So please, please, please keep up the
fundraising efforts!
I hope to be baking
Wed, June 6th and Thursday June 7th for the event on the 8th and 9th. If anyone
would like to help, kids or parents, it would be GREATLY appreciated. I'll also
be looking for donations of baking stuff (flour, sugar, eggs, etc....) so
please keep that in mind. I will send out an e-mail a little closer to the
date.
Also, I believe Santesh
has a small tent for the event but it would be nice if we could find some kind
of canopy or something to cover us in case of rain. If you have one or know
anyone that wouldn't mind letting us borrow it for the event, please let me
know.
I just want to say
thank you for all the support of our parents and families. You have really
stepped up and we wouldn't be able to do it without you! Thank you!

End of Season Dinner & Awards

Awards Dinner Planning
Hi Everyone,
I have made a
decision. We're going to have a dinner, with everyone coming bringing a dish,
along with awards in the commons area at Appoquinimink High School. Now we need
to give them a date ahead of time, so how does Tuesday night, May 29th or
Thursday night, May 31st work for everyone? It would be from 6pm to either 8pm
or 9pm. As for the bonfire, that will have to be done at a different date to
Adam's discretion and planning as it would be at his house. any nights sound
better than the other for everyone? I'm sorry for all the confusion but it's so
hard to plan a date for everyone to make it and we really want the whole team
there if we can! Thanks.
